Second Shooter Service Agreement

Hey!

Looking forward to working with you! Below is my contract, I know if I work as a second shooter it often helps to know how that person works and what they require of me.

So here are a few things I prefer, if you have any problems with anything just let me know plenty of time in advance before the wedding day.

  1. How do you download my images? I usually take my laptop and backup hard drive to a wedding day so I will back up your cards at the dinner section of the wedding and then the remaining photographs before we leave for the evening.

If it's a crazy busy day/ long day and we don't get a chance to do this or it is taking a while to transfer I will take your cards on the day and post these back to you a few days after the wedding. Or if there isn’t any groom prep and we see each other before the wedding I will hand you 2 of my SD cards to put into your cameras so I collect them at the end of the day.

  2. What do I wear for a wedding? I usually wear office or wedding attire trousers and a blouse, to make me feel like I can hide in the background more. All I ask is if you can dress smartly and with no crazy bright colours that would be fab!

  3. How can you use the images? Unless pre-agreed otherwise I am happy for you to edit your photographs in your style and use the images on your social media as you like. I ask if you can not post anything until I have posted photographs on my social media or 6 months after the wedding whichever comes first. I also ask that if you can please credit me as the ‘Main photographer and tag my page’ on your social media. You can’t tag my clients in your posts even if they follow you after the wedding. This is because if the bride or groom sees the photos and they are edited in a different style they might be worried that it won’t be in my style and they might not be happy about it. If my clients message me about your photographs on your page I will have to ask you to take them down if they are not happy about it.

  4. Submitting to any blogs/features/competitions should come directly from me.

  5. Payment will be made after the wedding.

Look through the slideshows to see the types of photographs I require.

Before turning up to any of my weddings, I ask if you can set all of your camera times to the time on the Big Ben clock. You can look up Big Ben clock on google to see the seconds.

Try to shoot landscapes and portrait with every photo, I like a range of different angles and orientation to choose from.

If you can shoot through things like over flowers, over people shoulder, through trees and shoot low down to the floor and high up (if possible)

I would like you to try to shoot with depth of field at least 70% of the time.

Be aware of everything in the background of the photographs, Example: waste bins-move them, rubbish or dirty clothes move them or move the client to a different place.

Try to shoot with the sun diagonal behide the clients (NEVER face the clients facing the sun) & Shoot in shade as much as possible, I would rather you take the clients to a shady spot then capturing it quickly.
