5 things you may forget when planning a wedding
1. YOUR FINAL GOWN FITTING
When you buy your wedding dress, it won’t fit perfectly which is why you should put a little money to the side for alterations.
You will go through a series of fittings with your gown and once your final fitting is scheduled, it’s best to bring your Maid of Honor.
1.HAVE A CREW
Think of a few people that you are close with that can set up the party and tear down when the night is over. They can put out your centre pieces, fairy lights, linens, guestbook, etc. They can also help clean up by gathering all of the decorations, gifts, cards and personal belongings.
You are going to be so tired when it comes to the end of the night so make sure you have some help!
3. YOUR HONEYMOON
If you are going straight to your honeymoon destination the day after, don’t forget to pack a few days before!! Get out a piece of paper, write down everything you need to pack and keep that list by your bags so you don’t forget anything!
4. GETTING READY ROBES
When you are getting your hair and makeup done, I always recommend robes for my brides. They are comfy, cute and won’t ruin your glam when you change into your dresses! Etsy has a great selection plus you can get custom ones which are a bonus!
5. CHANGE OF SHOES
Once your ceremony is over and portraits are finished, hop into some flat or sneakers so dancing doesn’t feel like a chore. Being in heels all day can put a damper on your mood when your feet start to hurt. You can get really cute flats if you still want them to be glamorous.
